This expansion marks an exciting milestone in the company’s continued commitment to making sustainable and affordable mobility more accessible across Ontario.
Communauto extends its sincere thanks to the City of Mississauga for its support in launching this initiative. The city’s commitment to smart urban planning and sustainable transportation has been instrumental in bringing this project to life.
Starting with three stations located in the heart of Mississauga’s downtown core, residents will now have a convenient, eco-friendly alternative to private car ownership. The initial stations are located at:
- 377 Prince of Wales Dr. (Confederation Pkwy & Rathburn Rd)
- 320 Webb Dr. (Confederation Pkwy & Burnhamthorpe Rd)
- 35 Elm Dr. West (Hurontario St & Central Pkwy)
“We’re thrilled to bring Communauto to Mississauga,” said Marco Viviani, Vice-President Strategic Development at Communauto. “Carsharing offers a flexible and sustainable way to get around, and we’re excited to be working with the City of Mississauga to make this service available to residents.”
Communauto vehicles are available 24/7 and can be reserved online or via the mobile app. With low hourly and daily rates, users can enjoy all the benefits of a car without the costs and responsibilities of ownership.
The City of Mississauga and Communauto invite residents to sign up now at mississauga.communauto.com to start using the service from day one. To celebrate the launch, new users in Mississauga can receive a $60 driving credit on any new membership by using the promo code MISSISSAUGA. This offer is valid for first-time sign-ups only. The promotion is available until September 30, 2025, and is subject to all eligibility requirements.
